About Lori Wiles Design

Lori Wiles

Lori Wiles

Interior Design is so much more than picking out pretty things. I love the whole process from working with the architects, builders and contractors to create unique plans and solve in-coming problems to yes, picking out pretty things! Which includes finding accessories that show-off the space and reflect the owner’s flair. Other passions of mine include family, nutrition and health. Always looking for new experiences, you’ll find me at new restaurants, traveling, and discovering new architecture.

Daisy Miles

I graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and minors in dance and Spanish. My career in Interior Design started two years ago when I began at Lori Wiles Design. I love helping create happy spaces, and I have a special fondness for textiles. In addition to design work at LWD, I also enjoy marketing via the company’s website and social media pages and photographing finished projects. In fact, I love taking all sorts of photographs—from interior photos for LWD and other companies to baby, family, and wedding pictures. When I’m not designing or taking pictures, I spend my time playing the piano and mothering my delightful 4-year-old son. I enjoy running half-marathons, and taking time to relax with an exciting book every night.

Interior Design has been my inspiration for years. With my ongoing fascination with interiors and architecture I knew my fate was sealed. Upon graduating from the University of Northern Iowa in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design I began my career with a local Interior Design firm specializing in textiles and custom cabinetry design and I’ve been in the business ever since.  I thrive in creating spaces for clients that not only exceed their expectations, but enhance their lives by providing them with functional, yet innovative design solutions. In my free time I keep busy with my young, growing family.
